Almost a year ago (July 18 2008) I won the title of Ms United States 2008...and I am befuddled as to how fast this year went by! I have been so blessed to meet so many different, wondeful people and work with a number of organizations and groups. If you've followed me on Twitter (MsUnitedStates), my entire year is noted there...I pretty much "micro blogged" my whole reign, lol. I would like to pick up from where I left off the last time to recap some of my amazing experiences...
I created a one hour presentation "B.Youneekly Balanced" combining both my platforms, Healthy Habits for Life and I am For Women, teaching middle school to high school- aged girls to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle and to reach for their goals with unfaltering confidence. I have toured a number of schools on the east coast with this presentation, collaborating with my sister Liana Baratta, the reigning Miss New York United States 2009. We are pictured here with girls from McArthur High School in Long Island, New York.
